26.7.2010 We have puppies!

Latte's and Raid's big litter was born yesterday evening. There is totally 10 puppies in this litter! They got six males (five reds and one blue & tan) and four bitches (one red, three blue & tans). At the moment puppies and mom are doing well.

12.7.2010 Great weekend - Luna is our new CACIB-winner!

We had a great weekend in three different country.

The best news we got from Poland, where our Polish export Luna aka Somehow Coffee Bean made her debut in show ring. She took part in her very first show and did it with style; Luna won aussie bitches, got CAC and CACIB, and was Best of Breed (BOB). What a debut! Super congratulations to Luna and her owner Kinga!

In Finland my basset breeding Kunto aka Somehow Feel The Beat took part in two international shows in his hometown Oulu with his owner Mari. On Sunday they got great result; Kunto was BD-4 (Best Dog-4) and got res-CAC. Well done Mari & Kunto!

I travelled to Estonia with Anne and Mari, and we has such a successful weekend as well. Tupu aka Somehow Trial Run got CAC from Räpina, being BD-2. On Sunday Tupu was BD-3 in Tarto. Congratulations Marja-Liisa! Congratulations to Anne and Mari for great results! Best of Breed on both days was Truozzy's Hands Off, who is daughter of CH Somehow Some Tru'n Oz.

4.7.2010 Welcome to our team, Metku!

We got a new member to our team - welcome Metku aka Truozzy's Tazz'n Go!
Metku is after American import Temora Vai-Kuka-Se-Nyt-Oli and my own-bred CH Somehow True Touch.

13.6.2010 Tessi BOS-veteran in Tuuri all breed show

Today in Tuuri all breed show our Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) was again the best veteran bitch, BOS-veteran. Sisters Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino and Oona aka Somehow Cafe Au Lait both got 'very good',  they both have to lose weight.

PS. I want to congratulate Jesse aka JCH Somehow Focus Point , who spent his 2nd birthday in the begin of Juny, as well as our Fun-litter, who is today 5 years old. Happy Birthday!

 

15.-16.5.2010 Tessi countinued her great spring

On Saturday it was time for Rauma all breed show. Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) countinued her successful spring by being again the best veteran bitch (BOS-veteran) and 4th best bitch (BB-4).
Also our other girls did it well; in junior class
Oona aka Somehow Cafe Au Lait placed 3rd with 'excellent', in intermediate class Wisla aka JCH Viva La Vida Bella Vita was 3rd with 'very good' and in champion class Pipsa aka C.I.B. Somehow Someday Maybe was 2nd with 'excellent'.

On Sunday we visited in Mynämäki all breed show with Tessi and Oona. Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) was the best veteran bitch among three veteran bitches and she was only of them who got excellent. She was finally BOS-veteran and finally 3rd best bitch (BB-3). Lovely weekend for our 10 years old super girl!
 Oona (Somehow Cafe Au Lait) was this time 2nd in her class with 'very good'.

 

18.4.2010 Excellent weekend!

We made a successful trip to Sillamae, Estonia.

Our little girl Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino got junior-CAC and was BOS-junior and second best bitch (BB2). This was Nana's 3rd junior-CAC from Estonia, so she is now Estonian Junior Champion (EE JCH). And because Nana has junior-CAC's also from other Baltic countries - Latvia and Lithuania - she is now also Baltic, Latvian and Lithuanian Junior Champion (BALT & LV & LT JCH).

Tupu aka Somehow Trial Run made his very first trip abroad - and he did it well; he was Best Of Breed (BOB) with Estonian CAC. Nice start!

I want to congrat and thank Nana's owners Heidi & Kari as well as Tupu's owner Marja-Liisa for such a great results! Also thanks and congrats to Anne for yet another great trip together and for great success!

Today our lovely veteran girl, full of speed, Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) travelled to Vaasa INT show with Sanna. She won veteran bitches and was BOS-veteran. She also palced best bitch #4 (BB-4) among 17 bitches. Very very well done - thank you Sanna again!

10.4.2010 Tessi got a new champion title at the age of 10 years and 1 day!

Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) spent her 10th birthday yesterday, and today she travelled to Estonia with my sister Sanna. Tessi was chosen as the best veteran (BOB-veteran) and best bitch #3 (BB-3). She gainned also a new champion title at the age of 10 years and one day -  Estonian Veteran Champion (EE VCH).
Best of Breed was Tessi's grandchild Terriway Justice For All. Congratulations and thank you Sanna!

 

9.4.2010 Tessi is now 10 years old!

My very dear Tessi (CH Terriway Thin Red Line) is 10 years old today! Super congratulations honey!

 

28.3.2010 Somehow Cappuccino "Nana" is new Latvian Junior Winner

This time it was time to travel to Latvia. There were Latvian Winner Show on Saturday, and our lovely little girl Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino did it well again! She won the junior bitches, got a junior-CAC and new title Latvian Junior Winner 2010 (LV JW-10)! She is now Latvian and Lithuanian Junior Winner.

Nana's mom Latte aka CH Somehow Take-Away was 2nd best bitch (BB-2) with res-CACIB. Latte has visited in five shows during this spring - she has been 2 x BB-2, 2 x BB-3 and 1 x BB-4. Not bad!

I want to send my warmest congratulations also to "Pedro" (CH Truozzy's Handyman) and his breeder Anne and owners Pirjo & Pauli - Pedro finished his International Champion -title! Well done! Pedro is son of CH Somehow Some Tru'n Oz and US import CH Temora's American Express.

 

22.3.2010 Great results in Tampere INT show

Yesterday we took part of Tampere INT show, where the breed entry was huge 58 aussies! My girls - three generations - did it very well:

Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino showed nicely and got 'excellent'.
Latte aka CH Somehow Take-Away won a big champion class and was finally 4th best bitch (BB-4) among 30 bitches!
Tessi aka CH Terriway Thin Red Line, my dear veteran girl, came back from a show break, she was shown first time for six months - and she showed to all that she's still in super condition; she won veteran bitches and was Best Of Breed -veteran (BOB-veteran).
Tessi's critic: "Excellent type & quality & head & expression. Very good texture. Good balance. Good mover. Excellent condition for age".

13.-14.3.2010 Super weekend in Lithuania - "Tazz" and "Nana" got new titles

We had a wonderful trip to Lithuania, where were two international dog shows.

On Saturday it was a main show in Lithuania, Lithuanian Winner show. Tazz aka CH Somehow True Touch gainned CACIB, CAC and became both, Lithuanian Champion (LT CH) and Lithuanian Winner (LT W-10).
Nana
aka Somehow Cappuccino got her first title - Lithuanian Junior Winner (LT JW-10) - with junior-CAC. Nana was also chosen as Best Of Breed Junior (BOB-junior).

On Sunday we made the same as on Saturday - Tazz got CACIB and CAC again, and now she needs only one more CACIB to finish her International Champion -title.
Nana did also as well as she did on Saturday - she got a junior-CAC again.

Congrats and thanks to our travelling company Anne & Mari! Special congratulations and hugs to Anne for a perfect weekend with Tazz and Toto, not to forget Missy's super results in Crufts and Germany!

 

7.3.2010 Great trip to Ähtäri

We had nice trip to Ähtäri with Tiina. Latte aka CH Somehow Take-Away took the best result of our dogs by being 2nd best bitch (BB-2). Also every other Somehow-dogs who were there - Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino, Tupu aka Somehow Trial Run and Pipsa aka C.I.B Somehow Someday Maybe - qualified as 'excellent' and they took nice placements in their classes. They all (Latte, Nana, Tupu and Pipsa) took also part of my breeder class, which was BOB and also Best In Show -breeder (BOB-breeder & BIS1-breeder).

Mona's eyes and patellas were checked today - she has healthy eyes and patellas.

15.2.2010 Great weekend in Tallinn, Estonia

We spent a lovely weekend in Tallinn, Estonia. On Saturday there was a special show for terriers. Our Nana aka Somehow Cappuccino took part of this show, and did it well; Nana got a junior-CAC and was finally BOS-junior and 3rd best bitch (BB-3). The judge was Matti Luoso from Finland.

On Sunday was time for international show. Latte aka CH Somehow Take-Away was also shown this time, and she was 3rd best bitch (BB-3). Nana did same as on Saturday, she was again BOS-junior with her 2nd junior-CAC.

My special thanks for this great weekend goes to Anne, Mari, Erja, Kari, Julie and Anne-Lii!

10.2.2010 Birthday parties!

Very happy birthday to our S-litter for their 5-years birthday!
Double-congrats goes to family Rotonen, who has Retu from our S-litter (so he spends his 5th birthday) and my former co-owned bitch Molli, who is today 3 years old :)

6.2.2010 Latte in Keuruu dog show

Latte aka CH Somehow Take-Away travelled to Keuruu without me, as I was working all day.
And she did well: Latte won a champion class and was 3rd best bitch (BB-3) among 21 aussies.
Thousand thanks to my dear friends Anne, Pirjo and Mari, for travelling, handling and taking good care of my dear girl! And congratulations for Pedro's BOB!

25.1.2010 Show year start in Turku

We started a new show year from Turku, with only one dog. She was lovely "Oona" aka Somehow Cafe Au Lait.
Oona was 3rd in junior bitches with excellent.

6.1.2010 Happy New Year!

New year has started with lot of snow and cold. It's finally a real winter here in West Coast Finland, too! I decided to give up my old guestbook, because I don't think it's necessary - of course you can give me some comments or feedback, but nowadays it works with e-mail.

Traditionally we starts a new year with results of Top Aussie -competition in Finland. Year 2009 there visited totally 287 aussies in Finnish show rings - it's a huge count, and of course it gets a big smile in my face to have a own-bred bitch to placing #6 in this list :)
