NEWS 2006

Thanks to all my friends for year 2006 - this year has been very succesful with
aussies as
well as bassets.
We got for example:
* 21 new titles
* 13 x CAC
* 11 x junior-CAC
* 2 x CACIB
* 8 x BOB
* 5 x BOB-junior
We have also a BIG-placement in all breed show, several BOS/BD/BB-placements and
many res-CAC's, unfortunately I can't count them all :) We also took part of the
biggest
shows of the year, for example World Winner show, European Winner show and
Baltic
Winner show with excellent results, and that's why two of our dogs has qualified
for
Crufts 2007.
Our puppies has now left their own homes, excepting Peppi The Long-ear, little
bassetgirl,
who spents her Christmas with us and moves after the holidays to her own home in
Helsinki.
I wish all my puppyowners good luck with little Somehows now and in the future
too!

Show year 2006 got nice end, when
Heta Keskitalo took part of Junior Handler
competition in Helsinki The Winner show with our
"Lotta";
this was their first time in official competition,
and they were winners right away! The competition
was the Finnish Junior Handler's Qualifying
competition. Well done, Heta & Lotta!

Our new gang members :)
We are going to get some new members to out team
from both, Tessi's and Fanni's, litters.
Both girls "Latte" and "Miina" are going to move to
co-own' home about two weeks later.
Both of these homes are already well-known to us, so we
really know that we get great,
co-operative homes for both of these girls. The girlies
are Somehow Take-Away and
Somehow Feel My Nose.
Even though the girls are
still running and hanging at home, they both have
already own
sites here in our website; meet
Latte here and
Miina here.

10.11.06 - WONDERFUL NEWS FROM POLAND WORLD
WINNER SHOW!
Remu and Lotta travelled to Poland to WW-06 -show, and the trip was really
worth of
travelling; Remu got res-CACIB, which is going to be confirmed as CACIB,
because the male who
won Remu, is already INT CH. They both, Remu and Lotta, were also the
winners of their
own classes and they got CAC's, so now they both are also PL CH (Polish
Champion).

results
Our Fanni surprises us again; in the morning she was just soooo calm with
her big stomach,
but when her "mom" started to travel to Estonia, then she decided to got her
pups ;)
So, I didn't go to Estonia...
So, Basset Hound puppies showed the daylight on Friday 20.10.06 - and they are
really
handsome pups! More information

Remu travelled to Estonia anyway with my friends,
and the trip was again very succesful;

friend Tiina, who takes care of puppies when they born. Like this we can give
better care and
attention to both litters when we haven't to run between two puppy-boxes :)

Valmiera with new titles!
Remu visited in Latvia, Valmiera and the result was great: Remu, who
competited in juniorclass, was BOB with junior-CAC and new titles
LV & BALT JCH!

Our Fanni is now a grandmother, because Öhkömönkijän Lyytikäinen got nine
(9) beautiful
basset hound -puppies. The father of this litter is Fanni's son Somehow Funny
Joke.

26.9.06 :: Great trip
to the Åland Islands - Pipsa got her first CACIB!
We spent a holiday with dog show in Åland. The trip
was very great, we had a very nice
holiday with good friends, and our aussies did very well
in the show:
Our little Pipsa aka Somehow Someday Maybe, was
nicely BOS, got her second CAC
and first CACIB! Pipsa has shown four times; she
has three Best Bitch -placements,
of which once she was BOB and once BOS. Not bad at all!

Finnish & Estonian Champion! Albert got res-CAC
We had an amazing day today in Köyliö group show.
Our very dear Fanni
(Öhkömönkijän Ounli Van) was BB-2,
got her last CAC and is now FIN & EST CH!
Fanni's son Albert (Somehow Funny Joke) did also very
well; he was BD-3 and got
res-CAC. GREAT!!!

We spent our weekend with kind of speed. On Saturday
we travelled to Estonia, Padise.

visited in Lithuania - they got nine new titles, Remu
was two times Best Of Breed!
Remu & Lotta travelled this weekend to Lithuania. On
saturday there was INT-show, and our youngsters
took
part in junior class with following results: Remu was
BOB, got junior-CAC and became Lithuanian
juniorchampion
& Lithuanian Vasara juniorwinner.
Lotta got also junior-CAC and
three titles, Lithuanian & Baltic juniorchampion
& Lithuanin Vasara juniorwinner.
On sunday there was special show for terriers. Remu &
Lotta competited in open class, both got CAC's,
Lithuanin championtitles and clubwinner-titles.
Remu was also BOB.

weekend!
We spent this weekend on the road. We were in
Estonia, Räpina all breed show.
This show was very
nicely organised, everything was just fine. It was
raining almost
whole day, but luckily rain stopped when
aussies and bassets were in the ring :)
We got
everything; BOB's, CAC's, junior-BOB's, junior-CAC's,
BIG's, new champions etc.
Two of our travelling company
travelled to Latvia, Riga with as great results as we.

Remu travelled to Estonia, Haapsalu with Satu Harden,

We spent very very hot and sunny day in Salo All
Breed Show. There were two Somehow-dogs
in that show;
aussie "Lotta" (BALTJW-06 Somehow Some Tru'n Oz) and
basset "Pitko"
(Somehow Funny Bunny). They both did it
very well, or can I say, excellent;
in the aussie ring
"Lotta" was BB-2 and got CAC! The winner
was our "Remu's" mother "Vilma".
In the basset ring "Pitko" was shown also very nice, she
was JUN EXC 2
among many high quality bassets.

countinues his great success - Remu was the best male in
Club Show!
Remu, officially EUJW-06 Truozzy's Rock Me, has
taken part of six show in Finland in junior class,
and
he has every time been the best junior male with
excellent. In this weekend it happened twice:
on sunday
in Pori Remu was again JUN EXC 1, and on saturday he has
a great day indeed: Remu
was the best male (BD-1)
and BOS in Club Show in Pakaa! Third best male (BD-3)
was Stara a.k.a
Somehow So How It Is. Our girls Lotta
(BALTJW-06 Somehow Some Tru'n Oz) and Pipsa
(Somehow
Someday Maybe) took a doublewin in intermediateclass:
Lotta won and was finally BB-3,
Pipsa was second,
just after her sister Lotta :)

14 aussies. Pitko was our only basset in that show, she

1.6.06 :: News and updates
Nice news from Salo again;
last weekend Lotta aka Somehow Some Tru'n Oz showed her
versatility and took part of first unofficial
agility-competition.
She was nicely 4th! In the
frontpage you can see a part of her fast speed and high
jumps :) Good work Minna & Lotta, and of course Leevi
too;
Leevi was the winner of that competition!

Remu got their first CAC's
We spent an amazing day in Rauma all breed show.
In the aussiering Remu (Truozzy's Rock Me) was again
class winner in juniormales,
BD-2 and got his
very first CAC. Remu has visited now in three
official shows,
with following results: 2 x BD-2, 1 x
BD-3, 1 x CAC, 1 x res-CAC.
Our Pipsa (Somehow Someday
Maybe) took also part in Rauma show,
this was her very
first show ever and she was nicely BB-4 :)
In the bassetring our day was also very nice. Juniormale
Albert (Somehow Funny Joke) was BOB
and got also
his first CAC. Fanni (Öhkömönkijän Ounli Van) was
nicely BB-4.

had succesful weekend
Yesterday this lovely couple Remu-Lotta were in
Somero show with excellent success,
and they did it
again today in Honkajoki. Remu was again winner of
juniormales and
finally even BD 3. Lotta won
juniorbitches with VG, there were 6 juniorbitches in
Lotta's class.

Minna Rasinkangas.

excellents in Somero
Remu (Truozzy's Rock Me) and Lotta (Somehow Some Tru'n
Oz) did it very well in Somero today. Remu's result was
BD 2 & res-CAC, Lotta was second in juniorbitches
with excellent and got res-CC too. Remu was
handled by his breeder
Anne Moilanen, Lotta's handler
was her another owner Minna Rasinkangas. There were 24
aussies.

son (2270 g & 45 cm) has born!
He came to our world
about five weeks before the time, so he is little, but
very strong :)
Thank you all for congratulations, we are
so happy parents!
Because of this lovely
happening these pages may not be updated so often and I
will be little bit out of this hobby for a while, but
not forever ;)

Two of our young aussies
took part in Match Show in Halikko. They both,
Lotta (Somehow
Some Tru'n Oz) and Remu (Truozzy's Rock Me) got red
ribbons, and Remu
was even 3rd best adult! Great! Lotta
showed her unbelievable speed in racing competition

she was very fast and the winner!

This time we were in Turku in international dogshow.
In the bassetring our Fanni
(Ohkomonkijan Ounli Van) was
2nd best bitch among 9 bitches. Fanni got
res-cac & res-cacib! Pitko (Somehow Funny Bunny) was
BOB-puppy,
handled by her very own "mom" Tiina.

We spent very nice day in groupshow in
Kauhajoki. Albert (Somehow Funny Joke) was nicely
